Welcome to the JavaScript for Everyone newsletter, a behind-the-scenes look at my work on a course designed to take your JavaScript skills from junior- to senior-level.

Dawn of the Final Day

JavaScript for Everyone. Pre-orders open on August 12.

This is it, Everyone: only a few hours remain to grab an early pre-order copy of JavaScript for Everyone and save £100 (that's about $135 non-metric USD off). Getting the newsletter out a little early this week, just to get the word out.

Today is the last day to snag your spot in the course for the lowest price we have planned, so don’t hesitate.

Speaking of which, I've reached the point in building the course where the Latin singing starts and a second lifebar appears and runs off the side of the screen — which is, of course, to say "the final phase."

There's a lot going on right now: tech edits are coming in, I'm finding exciting new ways to break the executable code snippets and the "test your knowledge" wrap-ups, and I've been dodge-rolling around the last few Markdown files with names like why-are-static-initialization-blocks-LIKE-this.md while waiting for a "PRESS [X] TO MAKE THIS PART GOOD" quicktime event to pop up.

I can't thank everyone that grabbed a pre-order enough. I know I said this in the previous newsletter, but this thing has been a lift, and it really means a lot seeing how enthusiastic everyone has been. I'm gonna need that buff for the las— wait. Has that timer always been up there at the top of the screen? This boss phase has an enrage, too? I knew I should've looked up a guide.

7 weeks, huh?
